Currículum
I started my musical studies as a percussionist in the 'Ateneo musical y de enseñanza Banda Primitiva de LLiria' where I got the title of percussion teacher and then I graduated in composition with the highest qualifications in the 'Conservatorio Superior Manuel Murguía de A Coruña'.
I have attended deferents courses to improve my technique as a percussionist, composer and conductor. Many of these courses were taught not only by some important Spanish lecturers such as Miguel Bernat, Enrique LLópis (timpanist of the RTVE orchestra), Ramón García Bou but also international figures such as Octors-Gustin Geroges or Marcel Van Bree.
As a percussionist I had the opportunity to work with important conductors such as Manuel Galduf Verdeguer, Rafael Frühbek de Burgos, Enrique García Asensio, Mª Pilar Vañó Bacete, Roberto Forés Asensi, Roberto Forés Veses, Ramón Ramirez Beneyto, José Rafael Pascual Villaplana, Bernardo Adam Ferrero and Andrés Valero-Castells.
I also won the prize ' Academia tercer milenio 2005' as a percussionist.
As a composer I would like to mention some of my compositions: with A Revolta Irmandiña I won the ' Concurso de composición para Banda de Música de Galicia', Pieza para joven orquesta , Apocalipsis (for Brass Band and percussion), Els miracles de Sant Vicent, which was composed for a brotherhood to commemorate the arrival of Saint Vicente Ferrer to LLiria, Los mártires de Carral, released for the 'Banda Municipal de A Coruña'. I’ve also composed some 'pasodobles', typically Spanish musical genre, some of them are L’abuelo Batiste or Aviñó, both of them dedicated to my grandparents, who died some years ago.
At present, I teach armony in 'Conservatorio Profesional de Lalín' and conduct the wind orchestra and the music school ' Banda Ateneo de Negreira' ( A Coruña). To enlarge my academic formation I often attend conferences about composition organised by the 'music school of Rianxo' with the Valencian composer, Andrés Valero-Castells.
