He was born in 1963 in Tlas, Lanzarote (The Canary Island). He acquired the basics of music from tris father, later joining 'Circulo de Amigos de la Musica' in Arrecife. In 1985 hi moved to Barcelona, where he continued tris studies at the Municipal Conservatory of Barcelona, were he got tris degree and became a clarines teacher (advanced levels). At the same time, he studied Harmony, Counterpoint, Fugue, Composition and Instrumentation, having teachers such as: Manuel Oltra, Xavier Boliart, Carles Guinovart, Albert Llanas, Albert Sarda, ...etc. He also did conducting whith the conductor Albert Argudo. In addition, he did courses on Current Kinds of Music (With Albert Llanas), Analysis of XXth Century Music (With Carles Guinovart), Cinema Music (With Alearco Ambrosi) and a course on XXth Century Music- in its fifth, sixth and seventh grades- in the speciality of Composition (With Albert Sarda). Nowadays he is Clarinet teacher at AULOS, the municipal school of music in Cerdanyola, after getting the post by taking a competitiva examination. He also teaches Harmony, Counterpoint and Musical forms at the music academy TRITO in Barcelona. He is a member of the composers group 'Sitges'.
